293 L&NWR London & North Western Handbill dated June 21st 1879 re Trips to Manchester Zoological Gardens but interestingly, celebrations of the Storming of Ali Musjid, The Key to the Khyber Pass in the Afghan War. Some rips and damage but a very rare document nevertheless. Comes with a small framed Gradient Diagram of the Plan of the Grand Junction Railway published by J. Cornish, 37 New Street Birmingham & 16 Lord Street Liverpool. Measures 13" x 6" in frame. Looks original. Also a Cheshire Lines Notice of Special Trains March 1899 showing trains such as Semi Final English Cup Liverpool v Sheffield United to Nottingham, England v Wales at Wrexham, Football Matches at Glossop, Liverpool Spring Races, Manchester Dog Show, Hunting Trains, Lincoln Races etc .Finally a L&NWR booklet 'Telegraph Rules & Regulations 1904, a little careworn. £30 1116
