470 GWR Tankard Original GWR epns ½ pint Tankard with GWR Hotels roundel engraved on the side. Used as a presentation item so having an additional, later engraving above and below the crest 'Transportation Club - Cyril Rider'. Excellent condition. Together with a Silverplate 1 pint Presentation Tankard to C.J. Rider from a few friends on his leaving Cardiff Nov 2nd 1945. Hallmarked Roberts & Belk Sheffield with date 1945. Extremely good condition and comes with an unofficial menu marking his leaving to go on to Paddington, for the farewell luncheon at the Park Hotel Cardiff £70 2754
471 smokebox numberplate Smokebox Numberplate 92223. A poor casting so either a replica or possibly a replacement, the latter is quite possible in view of the withdrawal date at the end of steam. The original would have been fitted to 9F 2-10-0 locomotive built Swindon in June 1958 and allocated on the Western Region until withdrawal from Bromsgrove in Feb 1964. It was re-instated at Saltley a few months later and transferred to the North West with eventual withdrawal from Carnforth in January 1968 where it was poignantly chalked on the smoke deflectors 'CARNFORTH STAR". £85 2067

500 Castle Nameplate Full size and accurate Replica Nameplate WELLINGTON with the appendage CASTLE CLASS beneath. Steel with cast brass letters rivetted and brass beading. The original would have been fitted to GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 number 5075. The original had a small amount of brass removed from the letter 'W' for mounting hole access, this replica has the same.
